EDF is seeking a Health, Safety & Compliance professional to provide day-to-day safety advice, conduct site inspections and support RAMS development on major infrastructure projects at Hinkley Point C. You will lead safety initiatives, engage with the workforce, and report to the SHEQ Lead, contributing to a strong safety culture across the site.

The role requires NEBOSH certs, UK safety legislation knowledge, and excellent communication skills.

Formación

• NEBOSH National General Certificate and/or Construction Certificate required.
• Excellent knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and construction standards.
• Experience reviewing RAMS and safe systems of work.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills at all levels.
• Proactive, practical and solutions-focused approach to safety.
• Strong organisational and IT/administrative skills.
• Ability to work independently within a project team.

Responsabilidades

• Provide day-to-day health and safety advice to site management and teams.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits and safety observations.
• Monitor compliance with RAMS, permits to work and safe systems of work.
• Investigate accidents and near-misses and implement corrective actions.
• Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings to workforce.
• Support safety campaigns and continuous improvement programmes.
• Communicate safety performance and risks to the SHEQ Lead.
