Job summary

EDF Energy Limited is seeking a Project Engineer to support the Project Manager in delivering defined work packages at Hinkley Point C, ensuring safe, compliant and efficient execution to nuclear standards. The role involves site-based duties, interface management with NNB and Tier 1 contractors, and driving progress on schedule, cost and quality.

Based on site Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week, the incumbent will lead planning, coordination and documentation, contributing to construction

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in delivering scope, schedule, cost and quality.
• Assist planning, scheduling and coordination of work packages.
• Monitor progress against baselines and report variances.
• Prepare RAMS, reports and procedures.
• Coordinate with off-site teams and subcontractors for materials and resources.
• Support construction readiness including permits and prerequisites.
• Lead meetings to align deliverables across site teams.
• Support engineering, fabrication and installation activities on site.
• Promote compliance with HSE and CDM requirements.
• Maintain project progress reporting and change control records.
• Ensure quality management systems are applied; raise issues.
• Undertake SQEP development per licence conditions.
