Job summary

EDF seeks a Senior Project Manager – Electrical for Hinkley Point C to lead strategic MEP delivery on a major nuclear infrastructure programme. You will guide multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include developing execution plans, governance, risk management and client interface to drive delivery within scope, schedule and budget in a highly regulated nuclear environment.

Qualifications

• Degree, HNC or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years delivering major engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Strong track record in regulated environments such as Nuclear, Energy, Defence or Petrochemical.

Responsibilities

• Lead the successful delivery of complex MEP projects within a nuclear environment.
• Develop and maintain Project Execution Plans, delivery strategies and governance arrangements.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to quality standards.
• Drive project performance through proactive programme management and risk-based decisions.
• Manage lifecycle activities from concept through handover and commissioning.
• Lead project governance meetings and maintain strong client/stakeholder relationships.
