Job summary

Morson Group in Chorley, Lancashire, is hiring a Project Controls Manager to lead the project controls function on a nuclear client site. The role focuses on establishing integrated controls across scope, schedule, cost and risk with robust baseline management and auditable reporting.

The successful candidate will drive forecasting accuracy, change control and governance in a high-integrity environment, coordinating with engineering, delivery, commercial and finance teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Project Controls Manager or senior project controls leadership role.
• Experience across planning, cost control, forecasting, risk and change control.
• Experience on complex, highly regulated projects (nuclear, defence, energy) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the project controls function across planning, cost control, risk, change and performance reporting.
• Establish and maintain project controls processes, standards and reporting frameworks.
• Coordinate resources and provide technical guidance to project delivery teams.
• Ensure baseline management, forecasting and auditable management information.
• Produce accurate governance-focused project controls reports for senior management.
