Job summary

Vulcain Engineering UK is seeking a Construction Planner (MEH) to join our PMO division for the HPC project in the UK. The role focuses on developing and maintaining MEH construction schedules using Primavera P6, coordinating with site teams and contractors, and delivering lookahead planning and progress reporting.

You will work in a high‑stakes, regulated nuclear environment, collaborating across disciplines to ensure schedules reflect work progress and risks are identified early.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in engineering or construction planning on large and complex MEH packages.
• Industry exposure across Nuclear or other regulated heavy industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed MEH construction schedules in Primavera P6.
• Keep schedules updated to reflect progress within defined cadence.
• Collaborate with site teams and contractors on 16-week lookaheads, 4D planning, and tracking.
• Create logic-linked work plans aligned to WBS and construction methods.
• Support Trend & Change analysis, assess schedule impact and risks.
• Ensure contractor schedules align to forecast.
• Coordinate and produce schedule reports on a defined cycle.
