Job summary

Vulcain Engineering UK is seeking a Scheduler to join the planning and scheduling teams for internal and client engineering projects in the UK Nuclear sector. The role reports on plan performance to senior team members and communicates with stakeholders to ensure the plan reflects current progress.

The Scheduler will support Vulcain’s PMO teams on high-value nuclear projects, offering opportunities for career growth on major UK programmes for decades to come.

Qualifications

• Experience with Primavera P6 for schedule development and reporting.
• Broad experience supporting construction/engineering phases of high-value projects.
• Excellent communication skills with structured cost/data reporting.
• Familiarity with project management tools and techniques.
• Nuclear or regulated heavy industry exposure is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Breakdown Structures (WBS), resource management, cost management of risk and critical path review using appropriate tools.
• Manage change control for project scope, update configuration documentation.
• Produce and present monthly reports to senior stakeholders.
• Monitor baseline control and various baseline changes.
• Integrate risk and costs into the schedule and apply project controls.
