Job summary

Vulcain Engineering UK is seeking a Project Planner to join the PMO for the HPC project in the UK. The role focuses on developing and maintaining detailed MEH construction schedules and collaborating with site teams and contractors.

Based in Bridgwater, you will engage in 4D planning, 16-week lookaheads, and schedule performance tracking while ensuring safety and alignment with EPC project expectations within a nuclear environment.

Qualifications

Experience in large-scale MEH construction planning.
Industry exposure to Nuclear or other regulated heavy industries.
Knowledge of EPC project environments and integrated planning.

Responsibilities

Develop, integrate, and maintain detailed construction schedules in Primavera 6 (P6) across MEH disciplines.
Ensure schedules reflect progress within the timeframe defined by the Central Controls Team.
Collaborate with site teams and contractors on 16-week lookaheads, 4D planning, and schedule performance tracking.
Create fully logic-linked work plans aligned to WBS and approved construction techniques.
Assist in the Trend & Change process, analyzing schedule impact and identifying risks and opportunities.
Ensure contractor schedules align to forecast positions and follow defined processes.
Co-ordinate and produce schedule reports to the defined reporting cycle.
