EDF is recruiting an Assistant Project Manager to join the Nuclear Island Programme in the UK. The role focuses on coordinating engineering, procurement, manufacturing and construction activities across a portfolio of contracts, with 2–3 days on site in Bristol and a hybrid working arrangement.

You will work alongside senior project managers to manage interfaces, support project controls and drive milestone delivery in one of the country’s largest infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting delivery of projects in engineered, infrastructure, energy, construction or highly regulated environments.
• Strong understanding of project management principles including planning, risk management, reporting and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to coordinate multiple activities and priorities within a complex project environment.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of engineering, procurement, manufacturing and construction activities across the Nuclear Island Programme.
• Coordinate project activities and engineering studies to achieve milestones and delivery objectives.
• Manage interfaces between engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning teams to support integrated delivery.
• Support project controls activities including reporting, KPI tracking, forecasting and progress monitoring.
• Engage with suppliers, contractors and internal stakeholders to identify, manage and mitigate risks and opportunities.
• Support contract management, governance and change control across assigned work packages.
• Contribute to construction readiness, logistics planning and programme integration.
