Job summary

Morgan Sindall Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead operational delivery on a nationally significant nuclear infrastructure project in Cumbria. You will drive safety, quality and programme performance while guiding multi-disciplinary teams and subcontractors to success.

Senior leadership and strong stakeholder engagement are essential as you coordinate resources, manage risks, and ensure compliant, right-first-time delivery across multiple workstreams.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant discipline is required or equivalent.
• Chartered status or working towards chartership with ICE or CIOB.
• Strong understanding of construction practices and delivery.
• Sound commercial awareness and risk management capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of operational delivery within designated area.
• Ensure safety, quality, cost control and programme delivery.
• Plan procedures, manage schedules and milestones.
• Motivate and develop supervisory teams, direct labour and subcontractors.
• Manage resources and suppliers for value for money.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environment and quality standards.
• Monitor performance and manage multiple projects with exacting standards.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
