Job summary

Morgan Sindall Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team in Cumbria, UK, supporting a major nuclear infrastructure programme at Sellafield. You will lead complex projects and work packages ensuring delivery aligns with safety, quality, cost and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering construction, engineering, or infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrable project management experience within a multidisciplinary environment.
• Experience leading integrated project teams and managing supply chain partners.
• Experience administering NEC contracts and managing commercial performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the successful delivery of projects and work packages from initiation through to completion.
• Ensure projects are delivered in line with safety, quality, programme, cost, and client satisfaction objectives.
• Develop and maintain project delivery strategies, execution plans, and implementation programmes.
• Provide leadership across multidisciplinary teams, including engineering, construction, commercial, planning, project controls, and supply chain functions.
• Manage project risks, opportunities, and change to support successful project outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, project governance requirements, and client standards.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, stakeholders, and supply chain partners.
• Drive programme performance and delivery against key milestones.
• Manage commercial performance, including forecasting, early warnings, compensation events, and financial reporting.
• Ensure robust project controls, reporting, assurance, and governance processes are maintained.
• Promote and demonstrate visible leadership in health, safety, environmental, and quality performance.
• Lead project reviews, governance meetings, assurance activities, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Support workforce development, succession planning, and the growth of project team capabilities.
• Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions where required to achieve successful delivery outcomes.
