Rolls-Royce plc is seeking a Nuclear Watchkeeper (Reactor instrumentation) for the Submarines division, based in Derby and working on a full-time, 5-days-on-site pattern. The role focuses on verification and validation of EC&I products within the next-generation reactor control system.

You will review requirements, develop test procedures, and collaborate with commissioning teams to deploy equipment onto boats.

Qualifications

• Nuclear Watchkeeper with submarine/operator experience is required.
• Strong understanding of electrical/controls and instrumentation.
• Degree or equivalent experience in Electrical/Control/Systems or Software Engineering is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Take ownership of verification of EC&I products.
• Review requirements and allocate verification methods.
• Develop test procedures and scripts.
• Create dynamic models and algorithm emulators.
• Validate integrated EC&I system against requirements.
• Collaborate with commissioning teams to deploy equipment on submarines.
