Job summary

Cavendish Nuclear is seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician for the Sellafield site near Seascale, Cumbria. This permanent role focuses on repairing, maintaining, calibrating, and testing radiation protection instruments to ensure safety and compliance.

You will follow local procedures, mentor apprentices, and support customers while working a 37-hour week. SC security clearance is required for the role.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Electrical Qualification required.
• Apprenticeship or equivalent training in Electronic, Electrical, Instrumentation or related field.
• Ability to obtain SC security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, calibrate and test radiation protection instruments to meet customer requirements.
• Maintain instructions and record information accurately; comply with procedures and regulations.
• Provide technical updates and mentorship to apprentices and new entrants.
