Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Lead Document Controller to oversee governance and assurance of critical project documentation within a highly regulated nuclear environment. You will lead a control team, manage EDMS systems like ProjectWise, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and security standards.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Document Control within highly regulated industries.
• Experience in nuclear, oil & gas, defence, or infrastructure environments is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of governance, quality assurance and regulatory expectations.
• Experience leading document control teams or functions.
• Auditing and regulatory inspection support experience is desirable.
• Proficient with EDMS and document lifecycle processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and manage the Document Control function across projects.
• Establish, implement and improve document control processes and workflows.
• Ensure compliance with nuclear safety, security, and audit requirements.
• Oversee document lifecycle management, numbering, revision control and archiving.
• Coordinate information flow to support programme milestones.
• Lead document control meetings and stakeholder forums.
• Maintain and govern EDMS systems like ProjectWise.
