Job summary

Aureos is recruiting a Health & Safety Manager to support a major demolition project at a nuclear licensed site in Dungeness. You will provide health, safety, quality assurance and environmental guidance to reduce risk, ensure compliance, and promote a strong HSEQ culture across the project team.

The role requires NEBOSH Diploma, IOSH membership, and extensive experience in heavy construction, including Tier 1 contractor exposure, with a focus on CDM 2015 compliance and proactive incident

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Diploma – Level 6 or equivalent.
• IOSH Chartered Membership.
• CSCS Health and Safety Managers Card.
• Valid driving licence.
• At least 5 years in heavy construction and/or demolition.
• Major projects experience.
• 3+ years with a Tier 1 contractor.
• Experience in accident investigations and follow-up.
• CDM 2015 and related HSE legislation.

Responsibilities

• Support a major demolition project on a nuclear licensed site with HSEQ advisory and leadership.
• Facilitate risk assessment workshops with project teams and subject matter experts.
• Maintain health and safety risk register and CPP.
• Coordinate with client project team to align with station operations.
• Track HSQE KPI information and produce performance reports.
• Lead investigations and support planning and risk reduction efforts.
• Promote a positive HSQE culture and staff development.
