Job summary

Bilfinger UK is recruiting for a Construction Manager to lead mechanical and piping installation activities within the NSSS scope at HPC. The role requires delivering high-quality, safe construction works with day-to-day leadership of supervisors, contractors and craft teams in a highly regulated nuclear environment.

The successful candidate will communicate effectively, plan interfaces with multiple contractors, and ensure resources, QA/QC, and regulatory requirements are met to achieve project

Qualifications

• Experience leading mechanical and piping installation on large industrial or energy projects; nuclear experience advantageous.
• Proven leadership of construction teams in a multi-contractor environment with 100+ personnel.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and QA/QC/regulatory documentation.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate mechanical and piping installation works across all areas; provide daily guidance to supervisors and trade personnel.
• Develop/lookahead plans aligned with project schedule and milestones; coordinate interfaces with other disciplines and client representatives.
• Champion nuclear safety culture and ensure compliance with Bilfinger and HPC safety standards; lead toolbox talks and method statement reviews.
• Track installation progress, report to Site Manager, and support change management and NCR resolution.
