Job summary

Assystem GmbH is seeking a on-site engineering professional to support mechanical and piping construction for a major nuclear new build. You will coordinate engineering, construction, and installation activities to ensure quality and nuclear compliance.

The role involves leading detailed execution plans, managing workpacks, and coordinating multidisciplinary teams to align with project milestones and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• You will support Mechanical and Piping construction delivery across a major nuclear new build programme.
• You will coordinate engineering, construction, and installation activities ensuring quality and nuclear compliance.
• You will provide technical leadership supporting safe execution of complex piping construction missions.
• Develop detailed execution plans aligned with project delivery milestones
• Manage construction workpacks supporting safe mechanical piping installation activities
• Coordinate piping installation sequencing across multidisciplinary construction delivery teams
• Review drawings, specifications, and technical documentation supporting site readiness
• Participate in constructability reviews and 3D model assessment activities
• Respond to technical queries, non-conformances, and engineering change requests
• Liaise with engineering, procurement, and quality teams resolving installation challenges
• Maintain accurate engineering records supporting compliance and construction traceability
• Promote nuclear safety, environmental compliance, and strong onsite HSE culture
• Challenge engineering decisions ensuring alignment with project delivery strategy
