Job summary

Amey is seeking a Building Surveyor to join its Advisory Consulting team in the UK, with opportunities across Birmingham, Bristol, London, Manchester and Sheffield. The role covers full surveying services, asset surveys, and design coordination, including acting as Principal Designer under CDM and Building Regulations.

You will support asset management, work across multi-disciplinary teams, and contribute to bids and client engagements, with travel as required.

Qualifications

• Chartered member of RICS or equivalent degree level education.
• Proven experience in asset surveys and building condition assessments.
• Strong knowledge of Building Regulations, CDM and Health & Safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide building surveying services across project lifecycle, from fee build up to close out.
• Act as Principal Designer for regulatory compliance during refits and new builds.
• Support Design and Asset Management teams with data led insights.
• Lead on bids and contribute to work winning for opportunities.

Education

Chartered MRICS / RICS accredited degree

RICS Associate progression (e.g. CIOB)
