Job summary

Randstad Construction and Property is seeking a Nuclear Asbestos Consultant for a contract at a Nuclear Power Plant in Blaenau Ffestiniog, North Wales. The role includes bulk sampling, airborne fibre monitoring, high level consultancy on asbestos management, and supporting project delivery within a large transformation programme.

The position is on-site with Monday to Thursday hours. Lodge and meals are available at cost. Daily rate £275–£280, with travel allowance; IR35 outside scope.

Qualifications

• P403 and P404 certificates.
• Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience.
• Experience in the Industrial sector would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Bulk sampling and assessments.
• Airborne fibre monitoring and background checks.
• High-level consultancy on managing asbestos in estates and properties.
• Trouble shooting large-scale asbestos jobs in complex environments.
• Project management experience and ability to generate additional work and build client relationships.
