Job summary

JMC Legal Recruitment is recruiting for an Newly Qualified Employment Solicitor to join a Legal 500-ranked regional firm in Orpington. You will handle a mix of contentious and non-contentious matters and receive structured development from experienced partners.

From day one, you will gain meaningful client exposure, with mentoring, a supportive culture and opportunities to qualify into employment law within a partner-led team.

Qualifications

• Newly Qualified Solicitor or due to qualify soon.
• Employment seat or relevant employment law experience during training.
• Strong drafting and communication skills; commercial, proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Handle a broad mix of employment matters, including tribunal claims and settlements.
• Draft and advise on employment contracts, policies and HR issues.
• Assist with TUPE, restructuring, disciplinary and grievance matters.
• Engage in mediation and dispute resolution; provide client exposure from day one.
• Work under partner guidance in a supportive, development-focused team.
