Job summary

Semtech seeks a Senior NPI Test Engineer to lead test development across mixed-signal and RF portfolios. You will architect test solutions from silicon validation to high-volume production, setting standards and driving breakthrough methodologies for 200+ Gbps data rates.

You will guide cross-functional teams, shape characterization strategies, and ensure manufacturability while mentoring junior engineers and advancing test capabilities globally.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in semiconductor test engineering.
• 4+ years in mixed-signal/RF test development.
• Proven track record leading NPI programs for high-speed ICs.

Responsibilities

• Architect test strategies for complex mixed-signal/RF SiGe products from concept to production.
• Lead test methodologies for high-speed SerDes, CDRs, and signal conditioning.
• Drive DFT/testability requirements into IC architectures and standards.
• Develop advanced test techniques for >200 Gbps data rates.
• Create reusable test IP and frameworks to accelerate NPI cycles.
• Mentor engineers and lead cross-functional test readiness reviews.
