SIG SAUER, Inc. seeks an experienced NPI Manager II in Exeter, UK to lead complex product development projects from inception to realization.

You will guide diverse teams, coordinate with executive management, and drive program milestones across BOM, drawings, routings, and validation efforts. The role requires a strong PM background, mechanical insight, and proven ability to forecast resources and budgets while ensuring ISO compliance and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Business; Master’s preferred.
• 3–6 years of product development, engineering, manufacturing or related experience.
• Mechanically inclined with advanced understanding of mechanical devices and assemblies.
• Strong ability to resolve problems with engineers and implement action plans.
• Experience using firearms is preferred.
• Proven project management leading interdisciplinary teams.
• Forecasting resources and budgets; control of development costs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; PLM/ERP experience required.
• Familiar with PM tools like Monday.com, Asana, Smartsheet, or MS Project.
• Excellent communication, professionalism, and reporting ability.
• Leadership and teamwork; ability to drive NPI, value analysis, CI projects.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership to the product development team and manage deliverables.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects with limited supervision.
• Maintain SIG SAUER NPI processes and cross-functional collaboration.
• Report development status, risks, and mitigation plans to executives.
• Drive BOM release, drawings, routings, and change-order strategies.
• Ensure compliance to customer and internal requirements.
• Lead pre-production readiness activities (TDP, BOM, assembly, packaging).
• Develop execution strategy and project plan with cross-functional team.
• Monitor cost and budget; pursue cost-reduction initiatives.
• Sustain ISO documentation and 5S standards.
• Uphold safety and security mandates.
