Job summary

The JobsBoard is seeking an NPI & Product Delivery Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of consumer electronics from post-concept through to production launch. This UK-based role requires coordinating electronics, mechanical, software, quality, manufacturing and commercial teams, with overseas partners, to keep development moving on time and within budget.

You will drive planning, cost reviews and supplier engagement, ensuring manufacturability and on-time product readiness for volume

Qualifications

• Experience delivering physical products through development, NPI and manufacture.
• Understanding of product development, engineering and manufacturing processes.
• Experience working with offshore or contract manufacturers and international supply chain partners.
• Strong project planning, scheduling and resource coordination skills.
• Experience creating and managing detailed plans using recognised project-management tools.
• Commercial awareness including supplier quotations and costs.
• Experience with prototype, pre-production and volume-manufacturing processes.
• Ability to challenge delays and coordinate stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of NPI programmes from post-concept development to volume launch.
• Create and maintain detailed project plans, schedules and resource needs.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across commercial and manufacturing activities.
• Work with overseas engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and logistics partners.
• Prioritise activities and resolve project blockers with internal and external teams.
• Transition new products from development to reliable volume production.
• Ensure tooling, pilot builds and ramp-up readiness for production.
• Review supplier quotations, tooling costs and development expenditure.
• Monitor budgets, timescales, risks and dependencies.
• Provide progress updates to senior management and stakeholders.
