Job summary

Industrial Connected Talent is supporting an established engineering and manufacturing technology business in the search for a New Product Introduction (NPI) Project Manager. This role focuses on leading cross‑functional teams and delivering NPI projects from concept through to production release.

You will coordinate engineering, manufacturing, purchasing and quality to ensure on‑time delivery, within budget and to the required technical standards, with a robust emphasis on risk management,

Qualifications

• Experience managing NPI, engineering or manufacturing projects.
• Strong project planning, scheduling and risk management skills.
• Experience coordinating cross‑functional engineering and production teams.
• Knowledge of product development, prototyping and manufacturing processes.
• Experience using project management software such as Wrike, MS Project or similar.
• Understanding of ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing documentation.
• Strong communication, organisation and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver against deadlines.

Location: Send, near Woking, Surrey

Job Type: Permanent

Working Pattern: Full-time, office-based

Salary: Up to £50,000 DOE + production bonus

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, with flexible start and finish times

This role focuses on managing new product development projects from initial concept through to manufacturing release and production launch. You will coordinate engineering, manufacturing, purchasing and quality teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required technical standards.

Responsibilities for NPI Project Manager

As NPI Project Manager, you will take ownership of an established project portfolio, managing milestones, resources, risks and delivery schedules. You will work closely with engineering leadership and internal departments to coordinate product development, prototype builds and successful new product introductions.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing engineering, manufacturing or new product development projects. You should be highly organised, commercially aware and confident coordinating multiple projects and stakeholders within a technical environment.
