Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a Supplier Quality Launch Engineer in Woking to drive supplier quality during NPI and vehicle launches. You will lead APQP/PPAP, coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure supplier readiness for prototype through SOP builds.

The role requires hands-on, proactive problem solving, experience with automotive NPI and strong supplier management in fast-paced environments. Immediate start available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years' experience in SQA or Launch Quality in automotive.
• Proven experience supporting NPI and vehicle launches.
• Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans and 8D.
• Experience with machining, composites or assembly processes.
• Excellent supplier management and stakeholder communication.
• Ability to prioritise workload in fast-paced programmes.
• Hands-on, proactive problem solver.
• Experience in high-performance, low-volume automotive environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier quality activities throughout NPI and vehicle launch programmes.
• Manage APQP and PPAP activities, ensuring supplier approvals are achieved within programme deadlines.
• Support prototype and pre-production builds, resolving supplier quality issues quickly and effectively.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis using 8D methodologies and implement robust corrective actions.
• Manage and validate containment activities during critical launch phases.
• Assess supplier readiness, including process capability, production capacity and quality systems.
• Identify, monitor and escalation supplier risks affecting programme timing, quality or delivery.
• Work collaboratively with Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement and Programme teams.
• Produce clear reports on supplier performance, launch status, open issues and mitigation plans.
