Qualifications

• 3–7 years in Supplier Quality, SQA, SQE or Launch Quality within automotive.
• Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) and vehicle launch programmes.
• Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans and 8D problem-solving methodologies.
• Experience with machining, composites or assembly manufacturing processes.
• Excellent supplier management and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise workload in fast-paced programme environments.
• Proactive, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier quality activities throughout NPI and vehicle launch programmes.
• Manage APQP and PPAP activities, ensuring supplier approvals within programme deadlines.
• Support prototype and pre-production builds, resolving supplier quality issues quickly.
• Conduct root cause analysis using 8D methodologies and implement corrective actions.
• Manage and validate containment activities during critical launch phases.
• Assess supplier readiness including process capability, production capacity and quality systems.
• Identify, monitor and escalate supplier risks affecting programme timing, quality or delivery.
• Produce clear reports on supplier performance, launch status, open issues and mitigation plans.
