Job summary

Micheldever Tyre Services (MTS) is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Shift Supervisor to lead a warehouse team in Nottingham. Reporting to the Shift Manager/Operations Manager, you will run the day-to-day shift operations through warehouse operatives and drivers, implementing SOPs and health and safety standards.

You will create daily/weekly plans, drive efficiencies, ensure legal and company policy compliance, and support stock management while maintaining high service levels and accurate

Qualifications

• Demonstrable leadership skills.
• Experience of Health & Safety management in a similar environment.
• Experience in a supervisory role preferred.
• Previous warehouse operations experience logistics operations preferred.
• Experience of creating operational plans ideal but not essential.
• Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the business.

Responsibilities

• Create daily and weekly plans as required.
• Drive efficiencies while improving service levels.
• Ensure compliance with legal and company policies.
• Monitor and control process accuracy.
• Promote and drive company initiatives effectively.
• Support the Shift Manager/Operations Manager to maximise stock levels and product availability.
• Maintain accurate records to ensure legal compliance.
