Job summary

Micheldever Tyre Services (MTS) is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Shift Supervisor to lead a warehouse team in Nottingham. Reporting to the Shift Manager/Operations Manager, you will run the day-to-day shift operations through warehouse operatives and drivers, implementing SOPs and health and safety standards.

You will create daily/weekly plans, drive efficiencies, ensure legal and company policy compliance, and support stock management while maintaining high service levels and accurate

Qualifications

• Demonstrable leadership skills.
• Experience of Health & Safety management in a similar environment.
• Experience in a supervisory role preferred.
• Previous warehouse operations experience logistics operations preferred.
• Experience of creating operational plans ideal but not essential.
• Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the business.

Micheldever Tyres is looking for a reliable and enthusiasticShift Supervisor with excellent work ethic to join our team. Reporting to the Shift Manager/Operations Manager you will be responsible for the day to day running of the shift operation through a team of warehouse operative and or Drivers.

You will be responsible for implementing the Companies Standard Operational Policies, Procedures and Practices including Health and Safety. As a support to the Shift Manager/Operations Manager you will take a proactive approach to drive the Shift forward with new initiatives, whilst creating a positive working environment and culture for team members.

• Location: Nottingham
• Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 08:00-17.30
• Must have: Warehouse / Logistics experience, with proven leadership skills. Please be aware heavy lifting is involved.
