Job summary

TPF Recruitment Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a Kent-based Chartered Accountants firm for a Not for Profit Audit Director, or Partner. This lead role offers significant autonomy, excellent client exposure, and work-life balance.

You will manage a portfolio of charity and not-for-profit audits across Kent, London and the South East, acting as a trusted adviser to trustees and senior leaders, overseeing planning, delivery and quality control with clear progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience leading charity and not-for-profit audits in practice.
• Responsible Individual status or working towards.
• Strong technical knowledge of charity accounting regulations and auditing standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a substantial portfolio of charity, academy, and not-for-profit audit clients.
• Advise trustees, finance directors, chief executives and governing bodies.
• Oversee audit planning, delivery and quality control across the portfolio.
• Provide technical expertise on charity accounting and audit matters.
• Support and develop managers and senior members of the audit team.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen and expand the not-for-profit offering.
• Play an active role in business development, networking and client relationships.
• Work with partners to drive growth of the service line.
