Job summary

TPF Recruitment is assisting a respected Chartered Accountants firm in Kent to recruit a Not for Profit Audit Director or Partner. This leadership role offers substantial autonomy, excellent client exposure, and a supportive culture emphasising work-life balance.

The role covers charities, academies and other not-for-profit organisations across Kent, London and the South East, with flexible, hybrid working.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification required.
• Extensive experience leading charity and not-for-profit audits in practice.
• Hold or be working towards Responsible Individual status.
• Strong knowledge of charity accounting regulations and auditing standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a substantial portfolio of charity and not-for-profit audit clients.
• Act as trusted adviser to trustees, finance directors, CEOs and governing bodies.
• Oversee audit planning, delivery and quality control across the portfolio.
• Provide technical expertise on charity accounting and audit matters.
• Support and develop managers and senior audit staff.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen and expand the not-for-profit offering.
