Matchtech is seeking an Associate, Associate Director or Technical Director-level Civil Engineering professional to join its Manchester team on a permanent basis, focusing on infrastructure and highways, business development, client relationships and work winning across the Northern market.

This senior role offers strategic input, mentoring, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful project outcomes, with significant autonomy to shape the Manchester office's growth.

Qualifications

• Significant civil engineering consultancy experience.
• Experience at Associate/Associate Director/Technical Director level or readiness to progress.
• Proven track record in business development and work winning.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development activities across the North West and wider Northern region.
• Develop, maintain and strengthen relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Identify and secure new project opportunities within infrastructure, highways and civil engineering sectors.
• Support the preparation of bids, fee proposals and tender submissions.
• Act as a key client-facing representative across the region.
• Provide strategic input into the growth and development of the Manchester civil engineering business.
• Mentor and support technical teams where required.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful project outcomes.
