Job summary

Matchtech in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Associate or Associate Director to lead the highways and infrastructure team on a permanent basis. You will provide technical leadership across public sector highway projects, manage key client relationships, mentor engineers and drive growth, framework commissions and business development.

Qualifications

• Significant consultancy experience within highways and infrastructure engineering.
• Proven experience managing public sector clients, frameworks and commissions.
• Strong understanding of highways design, infrastructure planning and project delivery.
• Established client relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience providing team leadership, technical direction and commercial oversight.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary highways and infrastructure projects from planning through to delivery.
• Manage key client relationships across local authorities and public sector organisations.
• Support business development, framework growth and work-winning activities.
• Provide technical governance, quality assurance and project oversight.
• Lead, mentor and develop engineering teams.
• Contribute to the strategic planning and continued growth of the Birmingham operation.
• Support the delivery of public sector highways schemes, local authority infrastructure programmes and major transportation projects.
• The successful Associate or Associate Director will contribute to a varied portfolio and strengthen client partnerships.
