Job summary

Argus Fire, part of Mitie Group, is seeking a Non Working Supervisor in London to oversee the fabrication and installation of sprinkler pipe work on site, ensuring work aligns with designs and quality standards.

Reporting to the Site Manager and Project Manager, you will maintain site records, monitor progress, assist with testing and commissioning, and supervise trainees. A valid CSCS card (SSSTS or NVQ 2 preferred) is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of construction sites.
• Understanding of sprinkler installations.
• Works well in a team.
• Valid CSCS card.
• SSSTS (Preferred not essential).
• Sprinkler NVQ Level 2 (Preferred not essential).

Responsibilities

• Work under a Site Manager to oversee fabrication and installation of sprinkler pipe work.
• Keep installation progress records and monitor against program.
• Read drawings and ensure work meets designs and quality expectations and procedures.
• Maintain site records, including site diary.
• Assist with testing and commissioning.
• Supervising and assisting mates and/or trainees.

Non Working Supervisor - London

Location: Greater London Area, working on projects

40 hours per week, Monday - Friday site hours

Salary will depend on experience

Working under a Site Manager and in conjunction with the Project Manager and Project Engineer, on fabrication and installation of sprinkler pipe work projects.

The duties would involve: -

• Keeping records of installation progress and monitor against program of works


• Fabrication and installation of sprinkler pipe work


• Keep up to date site records, including site diary


• Read drawing and ensure work is in accordance with Argus Fire designs and quality expectations and procedures


• Maintain compliance on site with issued and approved method statements and risk assessments


• Assist with testing and commissioning


• Supervising and assisting mates and or trainees

Essential Skills & Requirements

• Knowledge of Construction sites


• Understanding of Sprinkler installations, with previous experience in Fire Sprinkler Installations


• Works well in a team


• Valid CSCS Card


• SSSTS (Preferred not essential)


• Sprinkler NVQ Level 2 (Preferred not essential)
