Job summary

Global Ardour Recycling in Basildon is seeking a Non-Ferrous Scale Operator to join our yard team. You will identify, sort, weigh and process non-ferrous metals safely and efficiently. The role requires reliability, accuracy and a strong commitment to health and safety, with training provided.

• Experience in scrap metal recycling.
• Knowledge of non-ferrous metals.
• Forklift experience or license desirable.

Responsibilities

• Identify, sort and process non-ferrous metals per procedures.
• Assist with weighing materials and deliveries for customers, suppliers and the public.
• Coordinate with yard team and follow instructions to maintain operations.
• Operate plant equipment and forklifts where trained and authorised.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping in the work area.
