Job summary

Global Ardour Recycling in Bilston is seeking a Recycling Operative (Non-Ferrous) to join our yard team. You will identify, sort and process non-ferrous metals, assist with weighing materials, and help keep operations safe and tidy in all weather.

Ideal candidates have scrap metal recycling experience and knowledge of non-ferrous metals; FLT experience or licence is desirable. We offer a full-time permanent role with training, company pension and free parking, plus opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Experience in scrap metal recycling.
• Knowledge of non-ferrous metals is essential.
• FLT experience or licence is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Identify, sort and process non-ferrous metals.
• Assist with weighing materials and dealing with suppliers/public deliveries.
• Work closely with team and follow instructions; maintain high safety standards.
• Operate plant equipment and forklift where trained.
• Maintain clean and safe yard and comply with health & safety regulations.
