P27 Limited is seeking experienced Non-Executive Directors to join growing Wealth Management and WealthTech businesses across the UK, EU and ASEAN. This advisory role focuses on governance, strategy and growth for dynamic firms in a fast-evolving market.
Candidates will bring senior leadership or board experience, a robust network in financial services, and the ability to advise founders and executives on M&A, capital strategy, and regulatory compliance.
We are looking for Non-Executive Directors (NEDs) / Independent Directors to join the boards of growing Wealth Management firms and WealthTech businesses based in the UK, the EU and ASEAN, where we expect expanding demand for board governance.
The global wealth management market is undergoing a radical change. It is being reshaped by AI-driven personalisation, fintech apps and the Great Wealth Transfer. WM firms and wealthtechs require strategic advice, oversight support and market expertise.
We need candidates with relevant executive or non-executive experience who can provide advice across critical areas, including:
Strategic change: guiding businesses through full-lifecycle change, starting with strategic options reviews (evaluating business models, market positioning, and M&A/exit readiness) to establish execution roadmaps, followed by ESG, fintech and AI integrations.
Core WM areas: Advising on financial planning, investments, retirement, protection and regulation.
Financials: Advising leadership teams on business valuation models, venture capital, private equity, debt structuring, capital raising cycles and capital allocation.
New business: Supporting market expansion, strategic partnerships, distribution channels and client acquisition.
Governance: Providing oversight, risk management, ESG integration and regulatory compliance.
Remuneration may be a blend of equity and salary, depending on the candidate. NB: In the UK, while an NED appointment is structured as a contract for services, fees paid for board/office holder duties are treated as employment income under tax law and must be paid subject to PAYE Income Tax and Class 1 National Insurance.
