Qualifications

• Solid experience in non-contentious Construction Law required.
• Confidence to work independently and in a team.
• Experience in clean and renewable energy projects is desired but not essential.

• Prepare and negotiate professional consultant appointments.
• Draft and negotiate collateral warranties, bonds, and guarantees.
• Apply solid contract law knowledge and dispute resolution processes.

Overview

Non-Contentious Construction Associate (Bristol). Highly regarded regional firm are looking for an ambitious Associate to join their Non-Contentious Construction team in Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a collaborative and supportive team, advising a broad mix of clients across exciting projects.

You\'ll need solid experience in non-contentious Construction Law and the confidence to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Advising on construction legislation and practice
• Drafting and negotiating JCT and NEC contracts, including bespoke amendments
• Preparing and negotiating professional consultant appointments
• Drafting and negotiating collateral warranties, bonds, and guarantees
• Applying a strong working knowledge of contract law and the dispute resolution process
• Experience in clean and renewable energy projects whilst desired, is not essential

Working arrangement

Although based in Bristol, you\'ll also collaborate with colleagues in our other offices, giving you exposure to a wide range of expertise and clients.
