Qualifications

This position is part of the Capgemini Engineering Stress Engineering team, focusing on the assessment and resolution of non-conformances related to critical aerospace engine components. The successful candidate will utilize structural analysis, engineering judgment, and finite element methods to evaluate deviations in manufacturing and in-service conditions, develop robust repair and concession solutions, and ensure compliance with airworthiness and customer standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess the structural impact of non-conformances on turbine blades, vanes, segment liners, and other engine components using analytical calculations and finite element analysis.
• Develop and approve repair and concession solutions, ensuring adherence to engineering standards, certification requirements, and customer specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Design, Manufacturing, Quality, and Materials Engineering, to deliver practical, cost-effective solutions and technical justifications.

Qualifications

• A degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or a related engineering discipline, with proven experience in aerospace stress analysis and structural assessment.
• Strong knowledge of gas turbine engine components, manufacturing processes, finite element analysis, fatigue assessment, and non-conformance management.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to deliver robust engineering solutions in a fast-paced environment.
