Job summary

Community Fibre in London is seeking an enthusiastic, reliable network engineer with a customer service background to help grow our fibre network and keep customers delighted.

You'll work across GPON/FTTH/FTTC, monitor network alarms, provide second-line support, provision new services, and collaborate with the Network Operations and Passive Network teams in a fast-paced, startup-like environment. A CCNA and hands-on gear experience are essential.

Qualifications

• GPON/FTTH/FTTC experience is essential.
• More than 4 years in networking roles.
• ISP experience: 2+ years; network engineer: 3+ years.
• CCNA certification is required.
• Experience with major network gear e.g., Cisco/Juniper/Huawei/Adtran.

Responsibilities

• Provide second-line support to customers when frontline teams can't solve issues.
• Troubleshoot and monitor network alarms, diagnose faults quickly.
• Coordinate with Network Operations and Passive Network teams.
• Provision services from residential to complex business clients.
• Manage workload with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
