Job summary

Comex 2000 UK Ltd is seeking highly skilled FTTH engineers to join our on-site team delivering full fibre installations on the Openreach network for residential and business customers.

You will install and maintain telecom services, work overhead lines and underground ducts, and ensure safety, quality, and compliance across every site. This role requires current accreditations and a hands-on approach, with reporting and field management app usage.

Qualifications

• NRSWA SLG and PIA accreditations required; experience with overhead and underground PIA networks.
• Additional accreditations such as A001, S8, SA051C.
• SA002, SA007, S7, N022, SA020, N037, K008 desirable.
• Strong telecom network knowledge and practical use of mobile job management apps.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain full fibre telecom services, including overhead lines on poles and underground ducts.
• Visit customers' homes or businesses to set up internal cabling and ensure services work correctly.
• Work with live network infrastructures, perform reporting and admin tasks using field systems.
• Prioritise safety, keep sites clean, and record progress in timely manner.

Are you a highly skilled and motivated telecommunications professional looking to take on a new challenge?

We are looking forSelf Employed FTTH (Fibre to the Home) Engineers to work on the Openreach network with both residential and business customers, handling the full installation and maintenance of telecom services. You’ll work across Full Fibre networks, delivering end-to-end solutions.

Your Role and Responsibilities

This is a comprehensive, hands‑on, hands‑on, physical work, working with everything from Full Fibre networks.

Your daily tasks will include:

Network Build-outs : Install new telecom services by running overhead lines on utility poles, subducting protective ducts underground, all involving hands‑on, physical work.

Customer installations : Visit our customers’ homes or businesses to set up internal cabling and make sure their new services are working perfectly.

• Network Maintenance: Work with live network infrastructures ducts and poles

Quality & Safety: Follow strict safety procedures, and ensure all equipment is safe to use. You’ll also help restore sites, leaving every location clean and safe for our customers.

Reporting & Admin: Use our systems to record your work and keep information up to date in a timely manner.

Requirements

What We're LookingFor

• Qualifications: NRSWA SLG and PIA Accreditations are preferrable. You must have experience with both overhead and underground PIA networks. Additional accreditations such as A001, S8, SA051C, SA002, SA007, S7, N022, SA020, N037, and K008 are highly desirable.
• Technical Skills: Strong practical knowledge of telecom networks, proficiency with power tools and basic IT skills for using mobile job management apps.
• Communication & Customer Care: Excellent communication skills and a professional approach when dealing with customers, the public, and stakeholders.
