Job summary

Community Fibre Limited in London is seeking enthusiastic, reliable candidates with a customer service and network engineering background to help grow our fibre network and keep customers happy.

The role requires working in a fast-paced, sometimes unstructured environment, supporting service provisioning, collaborating with field engineers, resolving faults, configuring equipment, and turning unhappy customers into satisfied ones.

Qualifications

  • Experience in GPON, FTTH/FTTC.
  • University degree or equivalent with >4 years.
  • >2 years ISP experience and >3 years as a network engineer.
  • CCNA certification is required.
  • Experience with Cisco/Juniper/Huawei/Adtran gear.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and go the extra mile for great customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Support Customer Services in troubleshooting customer issues.
  • Provide second line support when Customer Services cannot solve the problem.
  • Monitor network alarms and diagnose faults quickly.
  • Coordinate with Network Operations Engineering and Passive Network teams to resolve faults.
  • Provision new customers from residential to business services.
  • Manage workload proactively with minimal supervision.
