Job summary

Comex 2000 UK Ltd is seeking skilled FTTH engineers to join on a self‑employed basis, delivering end‑to‑end fibre services on Openreach networks. You will install and maintain Full Fibre connections, supporting both residential and commercial customers while adhering to safety standards.

Role involves hands‑on fibre installations, site safety, and precise documentation using job management apps. Strong emphasis on customer service and problem solving in varied environments.

Qualifications

• NRSWA SLG and PIA Accreditations are preferrable.
• Experience with both overhead and underground PIA networks.
• Additional accreditations such as A001, S8, SA051C, SA002, SA007, S7, N022, SA020, N037, and K008 are highly desirable.
• Strong practical knowledge of telecom networks, power tools, and basic IT skills for mobile job management apps.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional approach when dealing with customers.

Responsibilities

• Network Build-outs: Install new telecom services by running overhead lines on utility poles, subducting protective ducts underground, all involving hands‑on, physical work.
• Customer installations: Visit our customers’ homes or businesses to set up internal cabling and make sure their new services are working perfectly.
• Network Maintenance: Work with live network infrastructures ducts and poles
• Quality & Safety: Follow strict safety procedures, and ensure all equipment is safe to use. You’ll also help restore sites, leaving every location clean and safe for our customers.
• Reporting & Admin: Use our systems to record your work and keep information up to date in a timely manner.

Are you a highly skilled and motivated telecommunications professional looking to take on a new challenge?

We are looking forSelf Employed FTTH (Fibre to the Home) Engineers to work on the Openreach network with both residential and business customers, handling the full installation and maintenance of telecom services. You’ll work across Full Fibre networks, delivering end-to-end solutions.

Your Role and Responsibilities
