Job summary

Quickline is hiring a NOC Engineer to monitor and manage the Next-Generation Hybrid Network from our Willerby Office. You’ll respond quickly to incidents, outages and alarms, while handling RCA/RFO tasks and maintaining network security for site access and cabinets.

The role requires experience in NOC or similar roles, with hands-on knowledge of network switching, VLANS, Subnetting and routing protocols. Familiarity with SONAR and Zabbix is a bonus, and the team operates in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Experience in a NOC or similar role.
• Experience with network switching, 5GHz, VLANS, subnetting and routing protocols.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced network environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic IT tools.
• Experience with RCA and RFO processes.
• Knowledge of SONAR and Zabbix is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage Quickline infrastructure, radio and 5G networks.
• Respond rapidly to issues, outages and alarms.
• Manage incidents and report on potential network issues.
• Support security on the network including access to sites and cabinets.

This role is based onsite at our Willerby Office.

Here’s why you’ll be great in this role…

• Experience working as a NOC Engineer or a Similar Role
• Experience in Network switching, FWA 5Ghz, VLANS, Subnetting and Routing Protocols
• Comfortable Working in a Fast-Paced Network Environment
• Excellent systems, Microsoft packages working knowledge. Skills with a Critical Eye for Attention to Detail
• Experience of Working on RCA’s and RFO’s
• Working Knowledge of SONAR and Zabbix preferred but not essential
