Job summary

Quickline is seeking a NOC Engineer to monitor and manage the Next-Generation Hybrid Network from our Willerby office. The role requires experience in NOC environments, network switching, VLANs, and routing protocols, with a focus on rapid incident response and reporting.

You will be responsible for monitoring infrastructure, managing outages, and ensuring network security across sites and equipment. Onsite in Willerby, with opportunities to contribute to policy and change management.

Qualifications

• Experience in a NOC engineering role or similar.
• Experience in network switching, FWA 5GHz, VLANs, subnetting and routing protocols.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced network environment.
• Strong systems and Microsoft packages knowledge with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience with RCAs and RFOs.
• Knowledge of SONAR and Zabbix is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage the Quickline infrastructure, including radio and 5G networks.
• Respond rapidly to issues, outages and alarms.
• Manage and report on potential issues affecting the Quickline network.
• Oversee security on the network, including access to sites, street cabinets and secure locations.

Here’s why you’ll be great in this role

• Excellent systems, Microsoft packages working knowledge. Skills with a Critical Eye for Attention to Detail
• Experience of Working on RCA’s and RFO’s
