Job summary

Quickline in Willerby near Hull is seeking a NOC Engineer to monitor and manage the Quickline Next-Generation Hybrid Network onsite at Willerby Office.

You'll respond rapidly to issues, manage incident reporting, and ensure security access to sites and cabinets. The role suits someone with experience in network switching, VLANs, subnets, and routing protocols, and familiarity with RCA/RFO processes.

Qualifications

• Experience working as a NOC Engineer or a similar role.
• Experience in network switching, FWA 5Ghz, VLANs, subnetting and routing protocols.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced network environment.
• Strong systems skills and proficiency with Microsoft packages; attention to detail.
• Experience of working on RCA and RFO processes.
• Knowledge of SONAR and Zabbix is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring & management of the Quickline infrastructure, radio and 5G networks.
• Rapid reaction to outages, alarms and incidents.
• Key management of Quickline problem and change policy.
• Incident management and reporting on potential issues affecting the network.
• Managing security on the network including access to sites, street cabinets and secure locations.
