Keoghs is seeking a File Handler in Birmingham to manage a dedicated caseload within the Military Disease department, specialising in NIHL claims and related disease cases. You will progress claims with tactical strategies to secure outcomes and profitability.

The role sits in the Legal department and requires strong organisational, negotiation, and communication skills to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifikationen

• Technically proficient in NIHL disease cases as a minimum.
• Other short tail disease experience desirable.
• Effective negotiator with the ability to use own initiative.
• Good listening and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to self-organise and prioritise while working under pressure.

Aufgaben

• Reviewing documents and preparing reports.
• Dealing with disclosure and witness statements.
• Instructing experts and attending conferences and trials.
• Liaising with insurers and insureds and ensuring timely court timetables.
• Ensuring compliance with the SRA Standards & Regulations.
• Managing own caseload within NIHL and other disease claims.
