Job summary

Musgrave is seeking an Operations Team Leader for nightshift to lead the warehouse team, drive daily targets, and uphold safety and operational standards.

The role requires leadership, strong organizational skills, and experience in retail/foodservice distribution. You will work a 5 out of 7 day week including Sundays, with night shifts, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• 12 months experience in retail/foodservice distribution.
• Proven leadership and team supervision abilities.
• Strong communication and proactive leadership approach.
• Customer-focused with ability to work to deadlines.
• Highly organized with ability to manage shifting priorities.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and WMS tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Line Manager with daily operations and step up in their absence to ensure smooth workflow.
• Lead and supervise warehouse team to achieve daily targets.
• Monitor team performance and provide coaching and support.
• Ensure adherence to operational processes and warehouse documentation.
• Conduct regular safety checks and report hazards.
• Promote health and safety standards to maintain a safe working environment.
• Coordinate daily tasks including picking, packing, loading, goods in and operations support.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure KPI targets are met.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and safety.
• Lead with a continuous improvement mindset to drive change.
