Job summary

FMCG Exec in Leicestershire is seeking a Maintenance Engineer (Multi-Skilled) for a permanent night shift within a fast-paced manufacturing site. You will join a long-standing, supportive team and contribute to proactive and reactive maintenance, plus continuous improvement across the plant.

The role requires a fully qualified engineer (apprentice trained or Level 3) with experience in electrical and mechanical systems, and a background in FMCG environments.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified engineer - apprentice trained or equivalent level 3 qualification.
• Experience working in multi-skilled roles covering both electrical and mechanical engineering.
• Experience working in fast-paced manufacturing environments (Food, FMCG etc)

Responsibilities

• Proactive and planned maintenance activities.
• Reactive maintenance and responding to breakdowns when required.
• Involvement in projects as well as continuous improvement work.
• Maintaining H&S standards and working to strict legislation on site.
