Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Environmental Services are seeking a Nightshift Manager- Cleaning at Holyrood, Edinburgh, delivering high service standards and meeting SLAs. The role is site-based with no travel, Sunday to Thursday, 10pm–6am, 37.5 hours, salary £33,150 per year.

You will supervise night staff, conduct compliance checks, drive improvements, and ensure health and safety on site while providing training on procedures.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience essential for night-shift team leadership.
• Flexible approach to covering night shifts and on-site needs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, trustworthy and well organised in a site-based role.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office packages for reporting and audits.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cleaning service delivered to required standard and SLA.
• Conduct compliance audits and inspections of standards and docs.
• Carry out nightly checks to confirm tasks completed.
• Maintain high Health and Safety standards on site.

POSITION: Site Based, no travel

SALARY: £33,150

LOCATION: Holyrood, Edinburgh

Mitie Cleaning & Environmental Services are seeking a Nightshift Manager- Cleaning, who will deliver excellent service standards, while meeting SLA agreements and adhering to cleaning specifications and compliance procedures.

Main Duties

• To ensure all aspects of the cleaning service are carried out and maintained to the required standard
• To conduct compliance audits / inspections of internal cleaning standards and documentation
• To carry out nightly checks to ensure all tasks have been completed
• To maintain the highest standards of Health and Safety culture on site
• To drive improvements in the site cleaning standards
• To provide training and awareness for all nightshift staff in all procedures relevant to their role

• Previous supervisory experience is essential,
• Have a flexible approach to the role,
• Be a team player but also can work independently,
• Reliable, trustworthy and organised,
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office packages,
