Job summary

Panda is seeking a skilled Fabricator-Welder for the night shift in Barkston. You will perform welding, fabrication and repair work on waste containers, ensuring they are safe, functional and presentable for customers.

You’ll need strong fabrication and MIG welding experience, the ability to read drawings, and a safety-first approach. A full UK driving licence is useful and multiple certifications are encouraged for career growth.

Qualifications

• Strong fabrication and welding experience with a safety-first approach.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and tolerances.
• Experience using grinders, cutting equipment and general fabrication tools.
• Full UK driving licence if operationally required.

Responsibilities

• Welding, grinding, cutting, burning and general fabrication duties.
• Repairing and maintaining waste containers to high standards.
• Maintaining machinery, tools and equipment and reporting defects.
• Working with the fabrication team and approved contractors.
• Keeping work areas hazard-free and clean; completing log sheets and paperwork.
