Job summary

Panda is seeking a skilled Fabricator-Welder for night shifts in Leeds. You will weld, grind and fabricate to repair waste containers, ensuring they are safe, functional and presentable for customers.

You’ll work with the fabrication team and contractors in a busy yard, following strict safety practices and maintaining high workmanship standards. Previous MIG welding experience and reading drawings are essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Fabrication & Welding or equivalent.
• Proven MIG welding experience; other welding processes are a plus.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Carry out welding, grinding, cutting, burning and general fabrication duties.
• Repair and maintain waste containers to be functional, safe and presentable.
• Maintain machinery and tools, report defects promptly.
• Collaborate with the welding/fabrication team and contractors.
• Follow safety procedures and keep work areas clean and organized.
